Campus Signage | Wayne State University

Our relationship with Wayne State University spans departments, from their construction, facilities and art/exhibitions group. The work is never done at an ever expanding University campus. There is always new construction underway and assets in need of an update.

On the exterior, we’ve updated and installed new signage at every campus building and parking garage. Most of which are post and panel. Other’s are wall mounted on a variety of facade types. A few include internal illumination and digital message boards.

Old Main, the original Wayne State building which opened in 1984, has numerous nooks crannies and additions making it difficult for visitors and new students to navigate. ID Enterprises took on the challenge of designing directory and wayfinding signage, meant to be functional and digestible. Stairwell ID signs and ‘zone maps’ were developed with the help of WSU’s facilities team.
